Certified compostable to Australian, European, Japanese and USA standards, Onya compostable bin liners have been assessed to be "worm safe"  with no micro-plastic residue left behind and breaking down to virtually undetectable levels in the soil.

Onya bags are made from 100% GMO-free renewable plants and are free from any plastic additives.

At this stage, the bags are not certified “home compostable” but can still be composted.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR USE: it is recommended to keep the bags in a cool dark space and to use them within 3-6 months.

Onya bags may need to be changed more frequently as moisture may begin the composting process and could lead to spills or splitting of the bag.
Wrap your wet waste in newspaper to help increase the life of your bag by preventing moisture from building up.

Please be aware that the bin liners do have a litre capacity but due to the gusseted bottom of the bag they might lose a bit in height, the following bags are recommended for the following size bins:

8L/2.1 Gallon Liner – 5-6 Litre/1,5 Gallon capacity bins - 35.5cm long x 41cm wide/14in long x 16in wide.

30L/7.9 Gallon Liner – 15-20 Litre/4-5 Gallon capacity bins - 57cm long x 51cm wide/22in long x 20in wide

36L/9.5 Gallon Liner – 25- 30 Litre/6-7 Gallon capacity bins - 65cm long x 56cm wide/25.5in long x 22in wide.

60L/15.8 Gallon Liner – 45-55 Litre/11-14 Gallon capacity bins - 80cm long x 65cm wide/31in long x 25.5in wide

The bags will fit most bin types if matched to the bin sizing mentioned above.
