About Name My Stuff

Name My Stuff originally started as Name Your Dummy a business idea that came about when my mum sent over a personalised dummy from Denmark for my first born baby. I thought it was such a great idea. Especially as I remember all the hassle we had with dummies getting swapped and not being able to keep little tags on them from my many years in a childcare centre back in Denmark. I am originally from Denmark and moved to Australia 16 years ago, marrying an Aussie.

Back to School, Kindy, Prep or Day Care the Cost-Effective, Environmentally Friendly Way

Did you know that much of the rubbish that we generate and send to landfill comes from the packaging on the food we buy and school lunches are no exception? In fact, it has been estimated that on average a school-age child using a disposable lunch generates three pieces of litter per day, which equates to 30 kg of waste per year.

This works out to be 15 tonnes of waste produced by a school of 500 students each year from lunch boxes alone! This doesn’t include all those lost water bottles and lunch boxes that find their way to lost property because they are not named, the sticky label has come off or texta rubbed off.

Name My Stuff makes it cost-effective for families, whilst encouraging litter free lunches. We are the first company in Australia to use the latest technology and equipment to permanently mark and personalise items that comply with Australian Safety Standards.

Australian schools are getting more and more conscious about food policies, both to cater for children with allergies and teach children about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and environmental awareness. Litter free lunches are lunches that contain food items with no disposable packaging or single use items, such as pre-packaged foods, plastic bags, juice poppers, bottled water, disposable utensils, plastic straws or food wrapped in cling wrap or foil. The Cancer Council Australia is also backing this initiative.

Selling only the best quality products sourced from the world over. All plastics are BPA-free. Mums can save money by buying items already permanently marked to ensure there is less chance of losing an item again.

From personalised baby dummies, drink bottles, lunch boxes, kids swimming goggles, toddler snack boxes. Your name or other information such as ‘nut allergy’ will be permanently marked on the item. No amount of use, washing or sterilising will ever wear the name off.

Thank you for your continued support in making our future generarations more aware of their impact on the environment.

Kindest regards, Tea
